It took me 10 years to finally find a dentist that I really like in NYC but I think I have finally found a truly caring and knowledgeable dentist in Dr. Youn. Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family… would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Awesome experience. From the moment you walk in the front door until you’re sitting in the chair, staff is is incredibly friendly and professional. Regardless of what work you need done it’s always a nice and calm atmosphere. Dr Youn is incredibly thorough and wants to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Youn is a caring, thorough and no nonsense dentist. She is honest about treatment and offers options so you don’t feel like you have gotten a sales job! The office is efficient and appointments are scheduled so there is little to no waiting time. In addition, she spends as much time with her patients as needed and maybe more!

Best Dentist I Have Ever Had!
Dr. Youn is the best! From my very first visit, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. Dr. Youn inspires the utmost confidence by her smile, and by her wealth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism. From general cleanings, implant maintenance, cavity/fillings, teeth whitening, crown and veneers, I’ve spent A LOT of time in her office over the last 5+ years. Dr. Youn has transformed my smile and the health of my teeth. She is a great doctor who listens to her patients, explains every procedure in great detail and takes care of her patients with great attention.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Youn for 7 years. I know her to be an excellent dentist, but equally excellent human being. She is a person with a big heart who cares for people and loves her work. Once you meet her, you will see for yourself. I also enjoy speaking with her staff Amina and Linda, they are equally thoughtful and warm as they help you navigate through your appointments and visits.

I have been a patient of Dr. Janet Youn for about seven years now. Before meeting Dr. Youn, I dreaded my annual visits to the dentist, as a result of some bad dental work as a child. Through these past seven years, I’ve come to genuinely enjoy my visits. I always knew I would be taken care of, and walked through the entire process step by step. When COVID-19 hit, Dr. Youn prioritized communication with her patients, providing us weekly updates on what the new world meant for us and how, once she was able to reopen, she would do so safely. Unfortunately for me, I moved to The Netherlands in the middle of the pandemic, unable to go in for one final cleaning before I moved, but found solace in her weekly emails, which continued as she was able to reopen. Having relocated and found a new dentist, Dr. Youn went above and beyond, sharing my xrays and historic details to ensure my new experience, with a new dentist, was a success. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Youn more. I look forward to returning back to New York to rejoin her practice as a patient.

I recently saw Dr. Youn, who has been my longstanding dentist, for a routine checkup. As usual, she is extremely thorough and I know my dental care is in goods hands. Additionally, during this stressful time of COVD-19, she and her colleagues and staff did an exceptional job of taking additional precautions to keep patients safe and informed. I’m grateful for her thoughtful care and felt happy to be able to return for necessary care in her and her office’s capable hands!

In this COVID-19 age, I was feeling nervous about going to the dentist but also have enormous faith in Dr. Youn. She has always treated me with care and operates her business with great integrity, always thinking three steps ahead on giving the best/safest and most up to date patient care. 24 hours before my appointment, I was asked to complete a thorough questionnaire, vetting my exposure and any risk I may represent in the equation. I arrived and was asked to sanitize my hands and also, my temperature was taken. There was no one else in the office, so I was comforted by this, knowing the appointments were spread out so that there would be no/minimal cross pollination between patients. Once inside, Dr. Youn was fully masked and covered and aside from laughing at her COVID head gear, it was just another day in the life of a wonderful Dr. Youn chat and visit and catch up session. At the end of the day, I am so glad I went. She put me at ease, in that, I got all my X-rays, my cleaning and know that my dental wellness good for another 6 months. Thank you Dr. Youn; you are the best!

I have been seeing Dr. Youn for over 15 years and she is a fantastic dentist in every way! She is incredibly thorough, precise, and gentle, and brings a personalized touch to every visit. I visited her once her office reopened following the COVID-mandated shut down and I felt very safe and confident throughout my visit. The health and safety precautions and protocol are well-planned and thoroughly-executed and I highly recommend a visit!

I have been a patient of Dr. Youn for more than 15 years and every visit has been professional and personable. I’ve been back twice under the current social distancing guidelines. The first was for a regularly scheduled check up and cleaning, and the second for a filling replacement. Both times, extensive safety protocols were ever present. Dr. Youn and her staff explained the measures, and though it was “more clinical” Dr. Youn and her staff were warm and welcoming as always.

My visits to Dr. Youn are always incredibly enjoyable & professional. Dr. Youn and her staff take extra care during my appointments with explaining procedures as well as billing and scheduling. The office is spotless, they have taken every precaution to ensure safety, especially during the current covid pandemic. Thank you for everything, always.

I was hesitant to go back to the city, where I receive most of my healthcare, but I was reassured by the protections I saw in place for Covid-19 compliance at Dr. Youn’s office. I had no reservations about keeping my appointment. Actually, now is the time to receive care with fewer people actually entering medical offices.

I had my “first” during the pandemic routine dental visit with Dr. Youn earlier this week July 13, 2020. It was a great experience and I felt totally safe and comfortable with Dr. Youn and her staff during my visit from start to finish. Prior to my appointment and for the last couple months Dr. Youn has been consistently providing informative emails to her patients to advise the measures she and her team were taking and continue make to ensure that everyone feels completely safe to return to her office for procedures. I have been a patient of Dr. Youn for years and knew that she would do only her very best. Prior to arriving at the office I was required to complete/update a COVID19 questionnaire and my personal medical history. All protocol was met for my office visit – hands-free open door for office entry; glass partition screens in the reception area; friendly, efficient and patient Linda – Dr. Youn’s assistant to put me at ease and greet me; patients are required to hand wash/sanitize when entering; undergo no touch-temperature checks; store personal items in a covered plastic bin during the visit in the exam room; I was supplied with a plastic bag to put the required mask you wear in for entry/exit to the office; Dr Youn was “suited” up with 3 different types of masks at times. New measures for new times but please don’t hesitate to make your dental appointment – with Dr. Youn and her staff you are in very good hands.

Thorough. Clean. Kind. Knowledgeable. Committed. These are the words I use to describe Dr Youn’s level of care and the values of her team. I have recommended Dr Youn to many friends. She and her team have been meticulous in how they have communicated with patients during Covid-19 times. I felt cared for and appreciated how transparent Dr Youn was during lock-down. While the office was closed, she communicated with patients week by week to educate us on how the re-open would look and feel and what to expect. She is truly an exceptional practitioner and would recommend to anyone.

Dr Youn has been my dentist for years. She is very patient, knowledgeable and gentle, which always helps to settle my nerves about sitting in a dentist chair. She’s also a very interesting person person and her office assistant Linda is great also. I highly recommend Dr Youn.

I had always wanted to get my teeth fixed since I chipped the front 2 when I was about 12 years old. Dr. Youn is so personable and professional, she made it almost fun. I can’t recommend her enough. I had my teeth whitened and veneered. Her whitening process brightened my teeth incredibly! Now with my new teeth I am having to teach myself to smile again. i realized how much I hid my teeth. I want to show them off now!

Dr Youn has been my dentist for a long time. She is very gentle, knowledgeable and considerate. She explains what needs to be done and why and takes a little extra time with me if necessary. She also has state of the art equipment, which makes getting some procedures, like a crown, much easier than in the past. I would highly recommend her.
